Though rooted in a small town, we hold ourselves to big standards—serving thoughtfully sourced coffee and espresso, house-made syrups, and a seasonal menu of lunch, brunch, and baked goods—all baked in-house.
You’ll find our signature drinks and staples on the menu, alongside rotating specials that reflect what’s fresh, comforting, or inspiring us at the moment.
Midnight Oil was the first of its kind in Searcy, founded by Matt and Mandy West—a young transplant couple who saw a need and took it upon themselves to meet it. MO was loved then, and is loved now, for offering a warm and welcoming space for students, locals, and out-of-towners alike. We strive to honor the spirit in which it was created by meeting the needs of our community as we see them.
MO is a real place, run by real people. It’s where ideas are crafted, worldviews are shaped, partnerships are forged, and friendships grow.
CHICKEN BACON CHEDDAR
Locally-smoked chicken, bacon, aged cheddar, and fig jam, toasted on house-made cranberry pecan bread and topped with crisp apples, arugula, and MO mustard.
ROASTED VEGGIE & PESTO
Pistachio pesto, goat cheese, and a selection of roasted fall veggies toasted on a house-made french country bread and finished with fresh arugula.
HAM & SWISS
Thick-cut ham, swiss cheese, house dill pickles, Inglehoffer whole grain mustard, toasted on a house-made french country bread and topped with mixed greens drizzled with garlic olive oil.
TRADITIONAL CHICKEN SALAD
Locally smoked chicken, walnuts, celery, grapes, mayonnaise & lemon zest, topped with mixed greens. Served on toasted house-made cranberry pecan bread.
*all sandwiches served with dill pickle spear and your choice of chips or side salad.

Homemade buttermilk biscuits, slow cooked granny smith apples, & cinnamon whipped cream. Served with a side of bacon.
A classic French sandwich with layers of ham and melted cheese, smothered in creamy béchamel sauce and toasted.
Served with side salad of greens, chopped apples, and dried cranberries. Dressed with maple apple cider vinaigrette.
Two slices of house-made cranberry pecan toast topped with almond butter, sliced banana, & almond chia seed granola,
drizzled with honey and finished with pumpkin seeds and a dusting of cinnamon.
Mixed greens, roasted sweet potatoes, wild rice, Granny Smith Apples, dried cranberries, goat cheese, and spiced nuts.
Served with maple apple cider vinaigrette.
